> FUTURE UNITS DEVELOPMENT

As the incidences of clients with ARBD is on the increase, Rehabilitation Units need to be developed in all areas of the country.

Supported living units as a move on accommodation and as a realistic alternative to Residential and Nursing care, both in terms of the needs of the individual and in terms of cost effective for the health boards and social services.

It is more effective to provide accommodation for these individuals and develop appropriate care pathways prior the increasing need, reaching epidemic proportions.

We also need to start preventive measures by education and appropriate assessment of youngsters, who are increasingly vulnerable to this problem given their changing drinking culture.

Carenza Care has developed expertise in all areas, training, developing and helping with the commissioning of services for the client group and will in the near future be providing an assessment, information and research service in our area. To provide the statistics required to ensure that future needs are understood and planned for.

Contact our office for more information about this service, costings and feasibility studies.
